G4 Hydrocyclone

The Linatex G4 Hydrocyclone has three unique feature that guarantee a significant industry advantage :

Hydrocyclone G4 CL : Unlike conventional mechanical seals, the Linatex dry gland has a stationary hard wearing face flexibly held against the Linatex rubber rotating ring. Any particle getting between the faces is absorbed into the Linatex rubber. This seal absorbs little energy and requires no external lubrication. It is particularly recommended where the use of gland water is undesirable.

Hydrocyclone G4 DM : Widely used in the coal iron ore and diamond industries for dense media separation DMS fine ore classification media recovery and media densification.

Hydrocyclone G4 DW : Applied to dewatering and desliming mineral sands, concrete sands, iron sands, iron ore, phosphate rock and coal washery fines in mineral processing circuits, including back-feed preparation. An extended overflow pipe induces a siphon effect which in turn creates a vacuum. This Vacuum holds the discharge regulator closed trapping the majority of the water, silts, and clays. When the weight of solids inside are sufficient to overcome the vacuum the discharge regulator is forced open and allow discharge of the solids.

The control of the material reporting to the underflow results in a much higher underflow density than otherwise obtainable
